That’s me, hiding from my responsibilities and the adult world on a beach in Brazil.
Im an English Lit grad, caffeine enthusiast, and self proclaimed coddiwompler (Google it and thank me later for your new favourite word). I have recently returned from travelling around South America, during which time I pretended to be starting my career as a travel writer, but was mostly just running away from the hellscape that is the post-grad job market.

Oh, and if you were wondering – Cavale is a pseudonym I chose based on the novel, La Cavale, by Albertine Sarrazin. It translates to The Runaway in English and, to me, the word represents the identity of the runaway beyond the singular action of running away. It connotes that fragment of oneself which is perennially fixated on the next adventure; living every second with one eye on the horizon and one foot out the door.
